Shortly after Austin's birthday we got his hair cut. And by hair I mean little baby wisps. Here is a good before picture with his hair all messed up after a bath so you can really see how long it was. Sometimes it curled. (He is trying to take his dad's gum.)

The deed. The hair stylist kinda looks like Austin's Uncle John, don't you think? He actually did really great. We thought he would scream having someone invade his personal space. (If you've spent much time around Austin you know he has a large area of personal space.) He laughed sometimes and studied himself in the mirror and just checked everything out.

Here is playing with the sprinkler after with his big boy haircut.
He's still my baby even with his little wisps gone.
I love my cutie.

Yes the hairsylists does look a little like John but I have the MUCH cuter one! Kids grow up too fast.
ReplyDeleteI think my kids first hair cuts were at the one month age, not one year. Harry little monsters!
ReplyDeleteCute hair cut for a cute little boy!
ReplyDeleteSuch a boy! Glad you have pictures to go back and remember that soft sweet baby hair. It won't always be that way!!
ReplyDeleteGreat missionary cut!
ReplyDeleteI guess the many fascinating things to look at diminished his personal space requirements. I agree the stylist does look a lot like his Uncle John - and that his Uncle john is cuter.;) Like it or not your little boy is growing up.
