I like cameras!

And cameras like me...

Hot Days

Or mildly warm days anyway are a good excuse for Austin to get out the hose.

The neighbor kids thought it was fun to watch Austin.

Austin thought it was fun to spray the kids.

When your garden is done producing edible food it is still good for making mud.

Before it's demise Austin loved the corn on the cob.

He could hardly wait to break into the 19.5" long watermelon. In his own words, "mmmm".

Who Doesn't Love the Zoo?

So, a couple of months ago, we went to the zoo. (Yes, I'm just now posting pictures.) The very first thing we came across combined 2 of Austin's favorite things... Water and a ball!

When we finally pulled him away we looked at some exhibits. Austin was surprisingly fascinated by the animals.

And the climbable walls.

He got to pop up in a gopher hole after riding the train.

He played on the playground.

Loved all the other kids that were there.

And after seeing a multitude of amazing animals he got to ride on a fake one...

Funny thing... Shortly after looking at the rhino exhibit (which are very boring creatures) we walked past a rhino statue. Austin did a startled double take and came running over to me. So, as any nurturing mother would, I pretended to pick the statue's nose and chased him down with rhino snot. (He thought it was funny anyway.)

An Age of Discovery

We got a group from our ward and went to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum later in July. Austin was absolutely fascinated by everything. (Note he has picked up the round, plastic produce. Balls are the best.) He did not want to leave or eat or anything but play all day.

Not So Wild Animals

We went to a petting zoo at the beginning of July. Austin seemed to enjoy it although looking was better than touching. The geese, however, freaked him out. I understand.

Growing, Growing...

...not quite gone. Our garden has grown and produced and some of it has died off. Some has yet to be harvested. We enjoyed sweet peas (everyone's favorite), string beans, zucchini, corn, tomatoes and still to come, watermelon.

A mouth full of peas.

Austin loves to pluck the balls off the tomato plant...

and take a taste.

Fits perfectly!

Back by Polpular Demand...

Okay, so 2 people wanted some more pictures posted. One of those being Austin's daddy. Does that count as popular demand? In any case, I've missed so much in the past month and a half that I can't even remember what it was that I missed.

Well there was the fourth of July. We went to our neighbor's annual block party. Austin had a blast! ha ha... me and my puns. (Austin and I are the blue blob on the curb.)

And in unrelated news, here is Austin lovin' a popsicle. It could've been the same day. I don't know.
